Hey mate!!!! Here is the trick for repeating numbers.

If a number is repeating, make the denominator 9 if 1 digit is repeating. If 2 digits are repeating then make denominator as 99 and so on....

So here we have
0.177777.........

so
$0.17 = \frac{17}{9}$
second step
now add a zero because 1 is not repeating
$\frac{17}{9} = > \frac{17}{90}$
step 3
since 1 is not repeating, subtract 1
so we have
$0.17 = \frac{17 - 1}{90} \\ = \frac{16}{90}$
simplifying we have
$\frac{8}{45}$

$\frac{8}{45} \: is \: your \: answer$
