I) Methanol, also known as methyl alcohol amongst other names, is a chemical with the formula CH₃OH. It is a light, volatile, colourless, flammable liquid with a distinctive alcoholic odour similar to that of ethanol.

II)Formaldehyde is a colorless, strong-smelling gas used in making building materials and many household products. It is used in pressed-wood products, such as particleboard, plywood, and fiberboard; glues and adhesives; permanent-press fabrics; paper product coatings; and certain insulation materials

III) Formic acid, systematically named methanoic acid, is the simplest carboxylic acid, and has the chemical formula HCOOH. It is an important intermediate in chemical synthesis and occurs naturally, most notably in some ants.
