Hi ,
Equation of the line whose slope is m and passes through the origin
is in the form of y = mx
i ) if m > 0 the line lie first and third quadrant
ii ) if m < 0 the line lie second and fourth quadrant
Therefore , if take m = any negative rational number we can write
required equations which passes through origin and lie 2 nd and 4 th
quadrant.
example:
1 ) y = - x
2 ) y = -2x
3 ) y = -3x
4) y = - 1/2 × x
5) y = (-3/2 ) × x
etc ..,
