Factors of  </em><em>(</em><em>{x}</em><em>)</em><em>^{3}  - ( {1})^{3}

 {x}^{3}  -  {y}^{3}  = (x - y)( {x}^{2}  + xy +  {y}^{2} )

 = (3 - 1)( {3}^{2}   +  3 \times 1 +  {1}^{2} )

 = (2)(9 + 3 + 1)

 = (2)(13) \: or \: 2 \times 13
