Concept:

If a number is divisible by any number then that number is called the multiple of the divisor number.

On other words, if we get a number as product of two or more numbers so we can say that the initial number is a multiple for each number involved in that multiplication.

Given:

Given that the numbers are 16, 8, 32

Find:

We have to express the above numbers as 4n form.

Solution:

(i) The first number is 16

Now,

4n = 16

n = 16/4, on dividing by 4 both sides

n = 4

Thus, 16 = 4*4

(ii) The number is 8

According to condition,

4n = 8

n = 8/4, on dividing by 4

n = 2

Thus, 8 = 4*2

(iii) Given number is 32

According to condition,

4n = 32

n = 32/4, on dividing 4 from both sides

n = 8

Thus, 32 = 4*8

Hence converting the given numbers into 4n form we get,

(i) 16 = 4*4

(ii) 8 = 4*2

(iii) 32 = 4*8
