1)For simple distribution (where frequency is not present)

mean=A+(summation of y/n) , where y=x-A and A is the assumed mean and n=no. if observation.

2) For simple frequency distribution(where frequency is present)

mean =A+(summation of fy/n), where y=x-A and A is the assumed mean and N=total of frequency.
