it is

l+[(f1-f0)/(2f1-f0-f2)]×h

here l is lower limit of modal class

f1 is frequency of modal class

f0 is frequency preceeding the modal class

f2 is frequency of the next to the modal class

and h is the class interval can be obtained by subtracting upper limit and lower limit

modal class can be obtained by the class interval with highest frequency is modal class..
