The tubular part merely let certain substances pass from the blood to the lumen of tubule, the antibiotics like penicillin, iodine containing compounds iodopyracet are secreted out into urine and also to bring down concentration of (H) ion in blood to the regulation level they are actively transported by tubular cells.
