there are many work of cabinate minister .... 1... they done work in their specific sector ... like agriculture minister pay attention on agriculture issues.. 2 they give answer to the people about their work... 3 they done work under prime minister. they are choose by prime minister.
The function of the cabinet ministers are as follows :-
1. They decide the appointment ( consult ) of the judges of the Supreme Court and the judges of the High Court with the President of India .
2. They take decisions on important matters like Defence , Foreign policy , Economic policy , and other important matters like imports , industrial policy and other reforms.
3. The Finance minister prepares the Annual Budget .
4. The Cabinet misters coordinate the working of other civil servants .
5. They advise the President to issue an ordinance .

Ordinance is a temporary law which is issued when the Parliament is not in its session.
Also the Ordinance may or may not be accepted by the Parliament .
Only the Lok Sabha members have the right to pass a no confidence motion.
In this case the Rajya Sabha has no say .
