  • Since there are no double/triple bonds primary suffix will be '-ane' but since 2 vowels can't be together it will be '-an'

  • Since aldehyde is the main functional group in this compound the ketone group will be a substituent at 4th carbon with the secondary prefix being '-oxo'.
