Today had been the most unlucky day of my life. I had been to a jewellery shop to shoplift some rings. I had dressed up in Jeans and tops with a pull-over as it was raining out. The climate was perfect for my endeavour. And, I was carrying my handbag which could accommodate at least 10 rings.
I was looking at the rings and was keeping the sales assistant busy asking him to get me from various parts of the section. Whenever his back was turned, I took a ring and placed it in my bag. I was happy with my success. When I was looking at a big diamond ring, a sales assistant came near me, held my hand in a firm manner but with a smile on her face requested me to enter a room nearby.
On entering the room, I saw the shop owner too. She forced the handbag out of my hand and took out the rings which I had stolen. She threatened me and advised the owner to call the police. I begged and promised not to indulge in such type of activities again. Also, explained that I tried this because I had challenged my friends that I could too. As I looked innocent, the owner let me go with a severe warning.
