Dear Samtani Uncle,
I find it rather odd to write a letter to you, knowing well that we live in the same building, just floors apart. But the matter on hand is rather difficult for me to discuss with you verbally so writing a letter sounded like the best option.
I know you are an animal lover and love feeding birds, first thing in the morning. I am sure, they too must be most happy to find a kind person who thinks about them and provides them with food regularly. But Uncle, what began as an exercise of feeding a couple of birds has now grown to enormous proportions, seeing your benevolence and the quantum of chick pea food that seems to increase with every passing day. This results in increasing number of birds coming to get their share of food.
However my concern lies in the fact that the food you spread out for the birds is falling in my patio resulting in these birds coming to have a feast on my patio and in the process rendering my patio filthy and dirtied with pigeon poop. Being an asthma patient these droppings cause me to break in to violent attacks of wheezing and choking. Medication which I used to take occasionally has now become a part of my staple diet. Do you think it is fair to me?
I would appreciate, if you could be a little more sensitive to my situation and contain the amount of food you scatter for the birds. It would really mean a lot to me.
Another issue that seems to be a bothersome concern for many of the neighbours in our society is the fact that your dog, Bruno barks incessantly throughout the day while you are at work. I do understand how stifled, he must be feeling to be left to his own devices, all day and more so when

you travel. The incessant barking disturbs a lot of the senior citizens residing in our premise as it does not allow them to sleep in the afternoon. I am unable to study with the constant ruckus. The other day while you were travelling, your maid left the door open and Bruno finding the door open ran out and bit me. The result was I had to take 14 injections for no fault of mine which I do not think is justified.
I would really appreciate if you could revaluate the situation on hand and take corrective steps to ensure that we can all live congenially in the neighbourhood.
