The literary term used in this couplet particularly is personification.The morning here is personified as a respectable  .There are numerous literary devices that may be found in any given poem, such as meter, rhyme, rhythm, symbolism, imagery, repetition .

For example:

You may write me down in history. You may shoot me with your words” and “I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide.
