1) EVAPORATION -

a. it is a surface phenomenon.

b. gives a cooling effect.

c. the temperature may not be 100 °C

2) BOILING -

a it is a bulk phenomenon

b. does not give cooling effect

c. the temperature of boiling should be 100° C
