1. The lower most limit of stratosphere is at tropopause.
2. This layer is free of water vapour and dust.
3. It extends from 18 - 80 Km between 50° and 60° latitudes.
4. Temperature does not change with altitude.
5. No visible weather phenomena takes place in this layer.
6. This layer contains Ozone layer.
