Supplementary Angles: Two angles on a straight line are said to be supplementary if sum of their measures is 180°.

Examples:

1) 80° and 100°

2) 20° and 160°

3) 30° and 150°

4) 45° and 135°

5) 90° and 90°

To find supplement of a given angle x, we must subtract x from 180°.

Given question: Write the measure of an angle which is its own supplementary angle​.

Solution: Let the two equal angles be x and x.

x + x = 180°

2x = 180°

x = 180° ÷ 2

x = 90°

∴ The angle which is its own supplementary angle = 90°.
