You Just have to remeber two points:
In Alkynes two Carbon atoms have triple bond between them.
General Formula for alkynes is C n H 2n where n is no. Of Carbon atoms.
Now since first member of alkyne must have 2 carbon atoms for triple bond formation… Thus n=2. Putting it in general formula you would get formula C 2 H 4.
Similarly, you want to know the formula of 2nd member thus n=3. Thus, using general formula you will get ur answer as C 3 H 6.
It's IUPAC name would be Propyne. As it has 3 carbons which will alteranate to “Prop” according to IUPAC naming.
