Digestive Juices :

Digestive juices contain enzymes—substances that speed up chemical reactions in the body—that break food down into different nutrients.

Mouth :

In the mouth itself the digestion of food begins in the mouth itself. Process of digestion is as follows: The mouth cavity or buccal cavity contains teeth, tongue and salivary glands. The teeth cut the food in to small pieces, chew and grind it. So, teeth help in the physical digestion.

Stomach :

The primary function of the stomach is to hold and breakdown food and liquid that we consume in our meals. It secretes hydrochloric acid and enzymes that help in the breakdown of food and other foreign particles like bacterial pathogens.

Liver :

The liver controls most chemical levels in the blood. It also secretes a clear yellow or orange fluid called bile. Bile helps to break down fats, preparing them for further digestion and absorption. All of the blood leaving the stomach and intestines passes through the liver.

Small intestine :

It is the site of complete digestion in humans. It absorbs digested food completely. It secretes intestinal juice. It receives bile juice from the liver and pancreatic juice from the pancreas.
