There are different kinds of animals are there in order primate. Primates can be classified into two groups on the basis of their body structure. These two groups are; prosimians and anthropoids.

Prosimians are mainly tree-dwellers having a longer snout than apes and monkeys. Some examples of prosimians are lemurs, tarsiers and lorises.

Anthropoids consist of apes, old world monkeys, new world monkeys and human. Anthropoids are smaller in size.
