The dandi march or the salt march started from sabarmati aashram in ahemdabad to the coastal village of dandi where gandhi ji with his followers broke the salt law producing salt by the sea water.The total distance to be covered was 240 they walked for 24 miles per day and it took them 10 days to reach there. Whereever he stopped thousands of people came to listen his influencial speeches and about the ways to revolt and the ideas of satyagarh.
