General formula when a strong acid reacts with a metal: acid + metal → salt + Hydrogen gas
Balanced chemical equation is Zn + H2SO4→ ZnSO4+ H2 expect gas bubbles to appear in the acid. Test for the gas by placing a lighted wooden splinter near the mouth of the test tube. Splinter extinguishes with a “ pop “ sound a.k.a. An explosion ( if reaction was done on a larger scale.) In fact, there would be an explosion during the experiment anyway. What you'd see/ hear would be only a pop but it's a small scale explosion.

☺ Hello mate__ ❤
◾◾here is your answer...
✒ Word reaction :--
Sulphuric acid + Zinc → Zinc sulphate + Hydrogen
✒ Molecular reaction ( balance reaction) :--
H2SO4 (aq) + Zn (s) --> ZnSO4 ( aq) + H2(g)
✒ In this acid -matel reaction ( also called displacement reaction) HYDROGEN gas evolved.
✒ Hydrogen gas can detect by candle ( burn with pop sound )
I hope, this will help you.
Thank you______❤
