hey mate good morning

washing soda → when co2 is passed through brine ( sodium chloride ) solution saturated with ammonia . and some ions also present in the solution NA+, NH4+, CL-, AND HCO3- .
then it form sodium bicarbonate .
The sodium bicarbonate thus formed is filtered and heated to give pure sodium carbonate .recrystallisation from water produce washing soda , NA2CO3. 10H2O.

USES
it is used for softening of hard water laundry and cleaning .

It is used in paints and dyes .
It is used as a reagent in laboratory .

bleaching powder → when the calcium hydroxide is prepared on commercial scale by adding water to quick lime the it form slaked lime

CAO+H20 → Ca(oH) 2

Slaked lime react with chlorine to form calcium hypochlorite and it called bleaching powder.
2 Ca (OH) 2→ CaCl2+Ca (OCL) 2+ 2H2O
bleaching powder
USES

it is used a strong oxidize agent .hence it is used in many industry .

It is used as a disinfectant which is used for disinfectant water to make portable water.

plz mark it as brainlist if I help u

Washing soda ->when co2 is passed through brine solution saturated with ammonia and NA+, NH4-, Cl- and HCO3- then it formed sodium hi carbonate. This sodium bi carbonate recrystallination from water produces Washing Soda (Na2Co3.10H2O)
