sponges reproduce sexually when there is a favourable condition.

when the conditions become unfavourable they reproduce asexually.

Hello bro this is way only follow the writtings of mine.
ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION-it is a type that is found in autrotrops or we can say in plants .this ferlisation can take place between one parent plant where male and female are present or it can happen in two plants also.some examples are vegetative progagation and budding etc.
SEXUAL REPRODUCTION- it is a type where therw is compulsory two have one male body and a female body and it is mandatory to have a sexual contact between both those bodies.this can be seen in humans and animals
the difference is in asexual doesnt need any sexual contact but in sexual reproduction sexual contact is must or otherwise individual may not hapen..
