When KOH and HCl are combined we get KCl + H2O. Whenever an acid (here HCl) and a base (here KOH) are mixed we get salt ( here KCl) and water. This is referred to as the neutralisation reaction.

potassium hydroxide+hydrochloric acid→potassium chloride +water
KOH+HCL→Kcl + H20
