Answer:

When alkene is reacts with hydrogen bromide then we get the product as per the "Markonikov rule".According to this rule the bromine anion is getting attach to the respective alkene containing lesser number of hydrogen atom.

The reaction between  C₆H₅ — CH₂ — CH = CH₂ and  HBr is given below

There are two products major and minor

Major product is C6H5CH2CHBrCH3

Minor product is C6H5CH2CH2CH2Br
