properties of solution are-
A solution is homogenous mixture.
The particles of solution are smaller than 1nm .
Because particles r so small we cannot even see it by high power microscope .
The solute particles cannot be separated.
The solute particles do not settle down if left undisturbed.
In second question if it asking meaning of solution then it is that it is the mixture of solute and solvent.

What is Solution?

A homogeneous mixture which contain two or more substances is called Solution.
Properties of Solution.

1. Solution is a homogeneous mixture.
2. The Particles of solution are very smaller. So, they cannot be seen by naked eyes.
3. Because of very small particle size, they do not scatter a beam of light passing through the solution. So, the path of light is not visible in a solution.
4. The particles of solution cannot be separated by the process of filtration. The solute particles do not settle down when left undisturbed. So, solutionn is stable.

Difference between solution and colloid

1. Solution is homogeneous mixture.
Colloid is heterogeneous mixture.

2.Solution's path is not visible
Colloid is visible
3. Solution is stable
Colloid is half stable

Hope it helps
