Independence of judiciary guarantees no control or intervention from the administration or the political party in command.  Hence, the tribunal is autonomous.  four constitutional provisions for making judiciary independent are as follows.

2. Salary of Judges established not subjected to vote of Legislature: - The salary and pensions of the justices of the Supreme Court are solidified by the constitution and being given from Consolidated Fund of India. Salary cannot be modified.

3. Parliament can extend but cannot curtain the jurisdiction and power of the Supreme Court:-

To operate more efficiently the Parliament may improve the control of the Supreme Court in civil matters, but cannot diminish the authority and jurisdiction of the Supreme Court under article 138.

4. No discussion in Legislature on the conduct of Judges:- Neither in Parliament not in a State Legislature a proposal can obtain a place with regard to the behavior of a justice of the Supreme Court in the emanation of his services under article 121.
