The Ibadat Khana (House of Worship) was a meeting house built in 1575 CE by the Mughal Emperor Akbar at Fatehpur Sikri. The main objective of having this place was to gather spiritual leaders of different religious background in order to have a discussion on the teachings of the respective religious leaders.

Ibadat khana was built for saints, monks, maulvis and scholars from all religions to assemble and have constructive discussions and debates on the principles/philosophy of their religion.
