We have to convert this into reported Speech : Jimmy said, "What's the matter? You look worried."

According to the rules for changing a Sentence to Reported Speech,

• PRESENT SIMPLE changes into PAST SIMPLE

For Example, :

She said, “I work in a hospital” changes to She said that she works in a hospital.

Similarly, When we apply same rule,

Sentence is : Jimmy said, "What's the matter? You look worried." Will now change into  Jimmy enquired/inquired/asked/interrogated (Note, All Are correct here!) what the matter was. As he/she looked worried.
