1)support: the ER acts and supporting skeletal Framework of the cell and also maintains its form.....
2) membrane formation : plasma membrane and other cellular membrane are formed by ER.....
3) transport of material: the ER facilities transport of materials from one part of the cell to another
4) exchange of material: the ER helps in the exchange of materials between the cytoplasm and the nucleus......
