Hey there,

In scientific notation, We express very large numbers or very small numbers as a combination of a decimal number between 0 & 9 and a Power of 10.

a) Velocity of light = 3 * 10^8 m/s

b) Velocity of sound in air = 3.43 * 10^2 m/s

c) Distance between sun and earth = 149,600,000 km.

Scientific notation = 1.496 * 10 ^8 km

HELLO DEAR,

In scientific notation, We express very large numbers or very small numbers in the form of a decimal number between 0 to 9 and Power of 1 to 10.

a) Velocity of light = 300000000m/s

scientific notation = 3 * 10^8 m/s

b) Velocity of sound in air = 342m/s

scientific notation = 3.43 * 10^2 m/s

c) Distance between sun and earth = 149,600,000 km. (or approx 150000000km)

Scientific notation = 1.496 * 10 ^8 km

I HOPE IT'S HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS
