In Medieval period, we observe a lot of cultural interaction between different communities especially Hindus and Muslims taking place continuously. One of the result of this which we observe is the development of Urdu language. It is generally considered to be a blend of Persian and Hindi elements that led to the emergence of Urdu. Eventually, many literary works were composed in Urdu during the Medieval period in India.
