#Newton per meter (N/m or Nm^-1)
============================================================================================

☆ The SI unit of surface tension is N/m or Nm^-1 (newton per meter).

☆ The CGS unit of surface tension is dyn/cm (dyne per centimeter).

☆ Surface tension is defined as the force per unit length.

Surface Tension = Force/Length.

☆ Dimensional Formula of Surface Tension = Dimensional Formula of Force/Length

= (M^1 L^1 T^-2)/L^1

= M^1 L^0 T^-2.

☆ The symbol 'γ' represents "Surface Tension".
