structural similarities plastids and mitochondria are membrane bounded organelles...
they both are eukaryotic cell organelles


.mitochondraia are found in both(plant and animall cells) whereas, plastids are found in plant cells only..
plastids can vary in colour depending on what they do and what pigment they consist of..on the other hand mitochondria do not vary in colour...
mitochondria helps in producing energy in the form of ATP molecule...with the help of glucose ,chloroplast and plastids to produce glucose...
