An affirmative sentence is the one that shows an agreement on something.It contains the subject which is normally present and which precedes the verb.

For example;in present form - John is playing.

                   ;past form-John played.

                   ;future-John shall play.

A negative sentence is one that shows the falseness of something.It has'not' article in it.

For example;in present form;John is not playing.

                    ;in past form-John did not play.

                    ;In future form-John will not play.

An interrogative sentence i one that has a questioning part.It often starts with a questioning tag such as why,when,which among others.

For example;in present for;Is he playing?

                     ;in past form-Did he play?

                     ;In future form-Will he play?
