Hello !!

Is very simple solve your question. See the resolution below.

FIRST INTERPRETATION.

PA = { -5, -19 ...}

Find the common difference.

d = (An - Ak)/(n - k)

d = (-19 - (-5))/(2 - 1)

d = (-19 + 5)/(2 - 1)

d = (-14)/1

d = -14

Now, you find the next term.

An = Ak + (n - k) × d

A3 = -5 + (3 - 1) × (-14)

A3 = -5 + (2) × (-14)

A3 = -5 + (-28)

A3 = -5 - 28

A3 = -33

SECOND INTERPRETATION.

-5 - 19 = -24

your successor is -24 + 1 = -23

I hope I have collaborated !
