Summary -
- The child goes to a spring fair along with his parents: The festival was of spring. The surrounding was happy. A small child goes to the fair with his parents. He is very excited. On the way, he gets attracted to various natural beauty. The sweets, toys, garland of Gulmohar, Gulab Jamuns attract the child. His parents refused him for all these things. So he mover forward silently. Again the child wanted to play, catch the dragonflies, climb trees, but his parents didn't agree and told him to move ahead.
- The child gets lost in the fair: The child wanted to go on a roundabout. So, he requests his parents. He didn't get any reply. He searched for them. He didn't find them anywhere. Then he realizes that he was lost. He started crying.
- A kind man meets the child: A kind man notices the child who was crying. He offers him all the things that he wanted before. The child refuses his offers. He only wanted his parents. The man still tried to console the child by offering him for a ride, but the child was only crying for his parents.
About the characters -
The lost child - The main character of the chapter. He gets attracted by the natural beauty, toys, sweets on the way of the fair. He gets separated from his parents and searches them.
His Parents - They use to refuse the demands of the child. They do not want to spoil the child by giving all his desired things.
A kind man - He finds the lost child and offers him all things he wanted before. He tries to console the child by his offering.
