Mahatma Gandhi was very honest from his childhood. Never resorted to any and fair action. One day while Gandhi was in school and Inspector of school scheme on a visit. The Inspector enter the classroom where Gandhi was sitting with other students. The Inspector give a couple of English spellings to the student to write. Gandhi has written one in correct spelling. the class teacher noticed this and indicated with his eyes to Gandhi to copy the correct spelling from other students exercise book. But he did not do this. After the Inspector left, the class teacher scolded him for not following his instructions. Gandhi reply bravely that copying was this honest and that is why he had not done it.

Gandhiji was honest even in his childhood. There was a memorable incident in his childhood to show his honesty. One day when Gandhiji was a child, a school scheme inspector came to Gandhiji's class room. He took dictation for the children and asked them to write 5 words. When he said the words, there was the word kettle which young Gandhi didn't know how to write. His teacher noticed it and whispered to him that to look and write the word from the child sitting next to him. But Gandhiji refused to do it. So he got the word wrong. His class teacher scolded him for not writing the word. But, Gandhi reply bravely that copying was this honest and that is why he had not done it.
This incident shows that Gandhiji was very honest and children should implement honesty in Thier life.
