Postulates:

◆electrons are embedded in the positive sphere.
◆there is no nucleus present.

{Drawbacks}

He didn't give any scientific evidence for his model so it was not proved or justified.. the model could not explain distribution of components of atom

▪It could not explain the position of nucleus in atom
▪It could not explain stability of atom
▪It could not explain appearance of absorption and emission spectra
