Answer:

RUTHERFORD SCATTERING ATOMIC MODEL

  • Discovery of nucleus by Rutherford.
  • Maximum alpha particles passes through the gold foil without any deflection that means maximum part of atom is empty.
  • Some alpha particles are deflected from their path that means the total positive charge of atom is centralised and this point is called nucleus.
  • Very few alpha particles (1 out of 20,000) come out with 180° , that means size of nucleus is very small as compared to atom.

J.J. THOMSON ATOMIC MODEL

  • According to this model atom is a solid sphere in which total positive charge is equally distributed and total negative charge present as seeds in water melon.

BOHR ATOMIC MODEL

  • This theory is applicable on single electron species.
  • Atom has nucleus where all protons and neutrons are present.
  • Electron revolve around the nucleus in circular path , at this time the attraction force of nucleus will be equals to centrifugal force of electron.
  • Example - H, He+ etc.
