Three factors that affect reaction rates are:

1. Surface area of a solid reactant.

2. Concentration or pressure of a reactant.

3. Temperature.

Explanation:

Other factors that influence the reaction rates of chemical reactions are:-

  • the concentration of reactants
  • the physical state of reactants and their dispersion
  • the solvent
  • the presence of a catalyst
  • the chemical nature of the reacting substances
  • the state of subdivision of the reactants
  • the temperature of the reactants

Three factors which affect the rate of reaction are concentration of reactants, temperature, and orientation.

Explanation:

Three factors which affect the rate of reaction are as follows.

Concentration of reactants

Temperature

Orientation

More concentration of reactants means that more will be the number particles taking part in the reaction. Hence, more will be the number of collisions between the particles which will lead to increase in the rate of reaction.

Also, an increase in temperature will lead to increase in the movement of particles which causes gain in kinetic energy of the particles. Hence, more collisions occur causing increase in rate of reaction.

When particles of a solute tends to combine with each other in right orientation then also rate of reaction increases.
