Hey there!!

( 2 ÷ 5 ) and ( 5 ÷ 9 )

LCM = 45

( 18 ÷ 45 ) and ( 25 ÷ 45 )

Let us multiply both then numbers with ( 10 ÷ 10 )

We get,

( 180 ÷ 450 ) and ( 250 ÷ 450 )

Five rational numbers : -

first - ( 181 ÷ 450 )

second - ( 182 ÷ 450 )

third - ( 183 ÷ 450 )

First of all make their denominators same :
 \ \frac{2}{5} and \:  \frac{5}{9}  \\
Their LCM is 45 .
So ,
The numbers are
 \frac{2}{5}  \times  \frac{9}{9}  =  \frac{18}{45}
and
 \frac{5}{9}  \times  \frac{5}{5}  =  \frac{25}{45}
So , three rational numbers between
 \frac{2}{5} and \frac{5}{9} are
 \frac{19}{45} comma \frac{20}{45} comma \:  \frac{21}{45}
There are infinite rational numbers between them .
So , you can take any of them .

Rational numbers are those numbers which are in the form of p/q , both must be integers and q ≠ 0 .
