Non-Renewable Resources

• The resources which become depleted once when it is used are called non-renewable resources.
• These kind of resources are generally scarce and if it is not used properly the rate of depletion is more.  
• Based on the source of availability they are classified into Fossil fuels and Nuclear Fuels.  
• Fossil fuels are crude oil-based like petroleum, diesel, CNG and LPG. Since the demand from the consumer side is more, the usage is more leading to a drastic depletion rate.
• Nuclear fuels are majorly obtained from uranium. These are employed in Nuclear fission and Nuclear fusion processes for producing nuclear energy.
