binary fission is the spliting or division of a cell into two daughter cells, But multiple fission is the division or spliting of a parent cell into two or more daughter cells.

BINARY FISSION:-

..Binary fission results in formation of 2 individual from the single parent .

..it occurs in most of bacterium relay from binary fission for reproduction.

MULTIPLE FISSION :-

. multiple fission results in formation of many cells .

. it occurs in few organisms and not only for reproduction but also to tide over unfeverable condition.
