 smaller \:than \: (-6)

 \red{ Difference \:of \: these \: numbers }

 = (-8) - ( -10)

 = -8 + 10

 = 2 \gt -6

 ii) Let \: (-12)\: and \: (-9) \: are \: two \:integers

 smaller \:than \: (-6)

 \red{ Difference \:of \: these \: numbers }

 = (-9) - ( -12)
