in this periodic table law, elements are set that after each repetition of 8 the chemical and physical properties of elements are likely to same.

But, after arranging some elements there are no such repetition for same property.

In some cases newland fit two elements in same slot which was a drawback.

limitation of law ofoctave :

( a) the law of octaves found was found to be a applicable only up to calcium.it was not applicable to elements of higher atomic masses.

( b) newland placed two elements in the same slot to fet elements in the table.
