Explanation:

While skeletal muscles are arranged in regular, parallel bundles, cardiac muscle connects at branching, irregular angles, called intercalated discs. Striated muscle contracts and relaxes in short, intense bursts, whereas smooth muscle sustains longer or even near-permanent contractions.

Multinucleated muscle fibers:-

1. Skeletal muscle fibers have more than one nuclei and are termed as multi-nucleated muscles. They are cylindrical shaped.

2. They can be controlled voluntarily (Voluntary muscle fibers).

Spindle-shaped muscle fibers:-

1. Smooth muscles are broader in the middle and tapering at the ends, also called spindle-shaped fibers. They have only one nuclei per fiber.

2. They cannot be controlled voluntarily (Involuntary muscle fibers).
