Both the poems are reflective ones:
1. The Hunting Snake and The Snail are written as a snapshot of nature.
2. Both the poems have been developed about their private life.

Dissimilarities:
1. The snail is very slow in its movement and is well satisfied whatever it has but the snake moves very fast and quests for its prey.
2. The snail spends a hermit like life style and it does not herm the people and the people do not have any fear about it but most people are afraid of snake especially about those which are venomous.​
