2√45+3√20/2√5;

=√5×[2√45+3√20/2√5];

=√5×(2√45+3√20/2)/2×(√5×√5);

=2√45·5+3√20·5/2×5;

=2√9·5·5+3√4·5·5/10;

=2√9·25+3√4·25/10;

=2×3×5+3×2×5/10;

=30+30/10;

=60/10;

12√5÷2√5

=6

so it is irrational
