It is incredibly easy to get into professional wrestling, especially if you have some disposible income.

Any dummy can train themselves, buy a ring, promote shows and be a glorified backyarder. You can find the basics of how to properly bump and roll and how to build a proper wrestling ring on Youtube, though if you have money you could probably buy one or rent one.

Even if you just train and work for somebody else, there are plenty of terrible training schools who'll just take your money.

It's easy to get in but it's a 1 in 10, 1 in 100 system. 99 guys out of 100 give up, 99 guys get trained poorly, 99 guys never make a living out of it.

Getting trained properly, actually becoming good and making it a full time job is hard. It takes a lot of dedication and it very dependant on stuff that is out of your control. You may have to adapt to the business of the time you're coming up. Daniel Bryan was Observer Wrestler of the Year in the mid-00s but spent a summer in the UK doing the holiday camp circuit because it was the only place offering steady money.

The entry point to being a wrestler is low. Being Sami Zayn and working your way up is hard.
